Tremolo Bread is a Burlington, Vermont bakery founded by baker Wren Kitz. After a hiatus to focus on other pursuits, a summer spent managing the Star Island bakery in the Isles of Shoals rekindled his desire to bake full time, inspiring Tremolo Bread.
Specializing in naturally leavened breads made in small batches, Tremolo Bread uses locally sourced ingredients and honors traditional breadmaking techniques. Centered on slow fermentation, the process yields loaves rich in flavor and nutrients. Many feature freshly milled whole grains, including varieties grown here in Vermont.
Each loaf is a small ritual—handmade and ready for your table.
